1. Draw a line along the lash line, from the inner to the outer corner of the eye.

2. Create a flick at the outer corner to extend the line from the bottom of the eye contour.

3. Fill the missing void gently.

The Fishtail Eyeliner

Step 1: Draw a line up and out from the outer corner of your eye, then line the upper lash line, starting at the inner corner of your eye.

Step 2: Draw a line connecting the tip of your outer line to your upper lash line, creating a triangle, fill in it and smooth out your lash line.

Step 3: Line the outer portion of your bottom lash line. Draw a line down and out from the lower corner of your eye.

Step 4: Draw a line connecting the outer tip of your line to your lower lash line, creating a triangle. Fill in it. TIP: Make sure your upper and lower liner connects at the outer corner of your eye in a fishtail shape.

The Simple Line

Step 1: Starting at the inner corner of the eye, place the tip of liner flat against your upper lashline, then simply draw it along the lashline until you reach the outer corner.

Step 2: Use the tip of the pen to etch in between lashes. This fills in any holes and helps to create the illusion of a fuller lash.

The Cat Eye

Step 1: Apply neutral or light eyeshadow from your lash line up to your crease. Angle a brush from your nose to your outer brow to find your end point.

Step 2: Use eyeliner to make a dot just above your crease to mark the tip of your wing. Draw a line connecting the dot to the outer corner of your eye. Draw a line connecting the dot to the middle of your upper lash line and the inner corner of your eye with your cat eye.

Step 3: Thicken the line as it gets closer toward the outer corner of your eye, then fill it in.

Step 4: Finish with mascara.

The Winged Eye

Step 1: Start with a simple line along the upper lashline.

Step 2: When you reach the outer corner, add a small wing by extending the liner out further, almost to the edge of the brow.

Step 3: Turn the liner on its side and connect the wing back to the outer edge of the eye. It should form a triangle but a larger, more dramatic one, then fill it in.
